Simplicity offers a full line of vacuum cleaners - canister vacuums, upright vacuums and central vacuum systems. But, unlike many other manufactures, Simplicity has not jumped into the bagless market. Why? The Simplicity philosophy is, well, simple, focusing on performance and value, not gadgets and attachments. Their goal is to create a vacuum that lasts forever and provides superior performance each time it is used. And it must be working, since the Simplicity Company uses only word of mouth advertising to stay in business.

One innovation resulting from their simple philosophy is "DuraTech." Starting with a "clean air" vacuum that removes dirt and debris before reaching the motor and motor fan, DuraTech uses separate components that are designed to be replaceable. In the event that a part does break down, the owner only needs to replace a single part (or two) and not the entire vacuum cleaner. Finally, safeguards are set in place to protect the vacuum while in use, including a full bag indicator light and circuit breaker to protect the motor against a clog or broken vacuum bag.

Simplicity vacuums do offer a two or four year warranty in the event of problems. Unlike many vacuum cleaners on the market today, Simplicity does not use HEPA filters in their products. Instead, they use Allergen Suppression Technology (AST). Simplicity vacuums offer a high efficiency electrostatic twin-ply filter bag that removes dirt and debris. The air flows through a pre-filter before the motor and fan, then a filter after the motor and fan. Finally, air is filtered one last time by the electrostatic post filter. And, when compared to a HEPA filter, this filtration technology is just as good at filtering dirt and allergens from the air.
